“ Tucked away in the industrial area of Mount Austin, Knock Knock Cafe is a true hidden gem. The owner has clearly put a lot of thought and heart into the decor—it’s stylish, cozy, and full of character. The service here is equally impressive; the staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, but the one thing you must try is their pistachio affogato—absolutely stunning and unlike anything I’ve had before. It’s rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. An absolute treat! The ambiance is calm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon tea. Plus, the beautifully designed space makes it ideal for Instagram-worthy photos. Whether you’re here to unwind or catch up with friends, this cafe ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended! ”
“ What a beautiful eclectically designed cafe this was. You couldn't take a bad photo of this place even if you tried. Even the washroom looked great. The food was fantastic too. Delicious cakes and the coffee was outstanding. Try the cocktails and their gourmet cakes. The sakura cake is highly recommended. Will definitely be back again. ”
“ Stopped by just for a coffee and really enjoyed the chill atmosphere. The café is beautifully decorated with a cozy vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Ordered the matcha latte and it was surprisingly good—smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. Service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A lovely spot to unwind, definitely coming back to try more from the menu next time! ”
“ Best tuna fish and chips in town. Mocktail drinks are really refreshing and not too sweet. All dishes are very exquisite and detailed. Service is friendly. This place wins JWC, Principal and Eden. Will come again. ”
“ My 2nd time here! 1st time is chance upon it. A bistro cafe in an industrial area! This time on a weekend which the cafe is crowded, harder to take photo. Nevertheless still love the atmosphere and vibe. Came for coffee and cakes. The place is roomy and can hold big group. They are opening a Thai restaurant a km away, maybe next time should try. Staff were very friendly greeting you welcome and goodbye. ”
“ One of the best cafes I’ve tried! They serve Western dishes blended with local flavors like mala and laksa and the results are amazing. Their service is excellent; although there was a small mistake with my order, they fixed it quickly and made things right, which I really appreciate. The interior design is also impressive. When you walk in, you’re surrounded by lush trees and plants, and inside it feels like stepping into a beautiful European-style café. The attention to detail is excellent, and they even have a real wood-burning stove, which adds a warm and cozy touch. Definitely worth visiting again! ”
“ Sgrean discovering good food in Johore Like & Follow me for more if you feel my recommendations are useful. Months overdue post ;- ) It is a thoughtful curated restaurant. I feel like I'm dining in a museum surrounded by artwork and artistic creations. It's instagramable. Colourful presentation when the food is served. However, I feel it lacked flavours, the wow factor, when it comes to taste. A little pricey, Overall, it's a lovely place to bring your date, friends and family. ”
“ A very pretty place but I would say that you go there more for the gram than for the food. The food was pretty meh. The coffee was ok but expensive considering that this isn’t a place that specialises in coffee. Seems to be very suitable for weddings though, with lots of greenery outside and inside has plenty of space with high ceilings. Reminds me of Korean style cafes ”
